Print Materials (Brochures, Flyers, etc.)
Print materials are your leave-behinds. Whether you’re hosting an open house, attending a community event, or welcoming a walk-in family, brochures and flyers give prospective families something tangible to take home—and a reminder to follow up.
Well-designed print materials help communicate your message clearly and professionally. They’re also a great way to ensure consistency in how your school is presented.
✅ Pros of Print Materials:
Tangible: Gives families something to hold, read, and share.
Flexible: Can be used at events, in backpacks, in front offices, or distributed locally.
Brand-building: Professionally designed materials reflect the quality of your school.
🚫 Cons of Print Materials:
Cost over time: Frequent reprints can add up.
Can go unused: Materials sitting in a drawer won’t help you enroll students.
Outdated info: If not reviewed regularly, they may contain old dates or links.
🏫 Should Your School Use Print Materials?
Print materials are a good fit if:
You’re hosting events or conducting school tours.
You want materials available in the front office or at partner locations (libraries, community centers, etc.).
You’re canvassing neighborhoods or attending fairs.
Print materials may not be helpful if:
You’re only reaching families through digital channels.
You have very few seats to fill and can focus on more direct outreach.
🛠️ Getting Started with Print Materials
Choose Your Format:
Flyers: Single-page, great for events and announcements.
Brochures: Folded, more comprehensive—good for evergreen content about your school.
One-pagers: Ideal for school highlights, grade-level info, or “Why Choose Us” overviews.
Finalize Your Content:
Include basic info: grades served, STEM focus, tuition-free status, how to apply.
Use a clear call-to-action and short, engaging copy.
Add a trackable QR code or short link to your enrollment page.
Submit a Design Request:
Submit a Marketing Request with your content, goals, and format preference.
The Concept team will handle layout and branding.
Print and Distribute:
If your school already has a preferred vendor:
- Reach out directly to request a quote.
- Once you receive the quote, submit a ConceptSIS request in the exact amount.
If you do not have a vendor:
- Start by submitting a ConceptSIS request with your expected budget and project details.
- Our Purchasing Team will help identify a vendor and finalize the order.
Distribute at events, place in community centers, or keep stocked in your front office.
Review Regularly:
Check quarterly for outdated info.
Update materials before major enrollment pushes.
💸 Budget Considerations:
Flyers: ~$0.10–$0.50 each
Brochures: ~$0.25–$1.00 each
Recommended Allocation: 5–10% of your traditional marketing budget
📈 How to Measure Success:
Ask new families where they picked up your materials.
Track QR code scans or direct traffic to your linked URL.
Use sign-in sheets at events to correlate handouts with inquiries.
⚠️ Common Mistakes to Avoid:
Overloading with text—most people will skim, not read in full.
Using outdated branding, links, or staff info.
Not clearly showing what the family should do next.
Letting materials sit unused or unstocked in key locations.
📝 Workspace & Notes:
Set a clear objective
